Drs. Aida and Mimi Ibrahim were born to Ethiopian parents in Harare, Zimbabwe where they
spent the first 15 years of their lives. In 2008 their family moved to Fort Collins, CO where they
completed high school with high honors and graduated from Colorado State University with a
bachelor’s degree in biological sciences and a master’s degree in microbiology and immunology.
They then obtained their Doctor of Dental Surgery degrees from the University of Colorado
School of Dental Medicine and went on to complete a highly competitive one-year General
Practice Residency program at Denver Health Medical Center in Downtown Denver where they
advanced their skills in restorative and surgical dentistry. They worked in Cherry Creek, Denver
for two years before falling in love with the San Juans and moving to Telluride in November
2024.
Drs. Ibrahim truly believe dentistry is a combination of science and art and they both are
passionate about applying their eyes for detail to restore and maintain the oral health of their
patients and creating beautiful smiles. Providing patients the highest quality of dental care is a
top priority for both; they practice with compassion, integrity, and a commitment to excellence.
In their free time, Dr. Aida and Dr. Mimi enjoy skiing, hiking, playing tennis, playing the piano,
and spending time with friends and family. They love exploring all the San Juans have to offer!
