Sarah Newman

Office Manager

Sarah grew up in Fort Worth, Texas, and has worked in the dental field since 2020. She studied Business Administration at Western Colorado University in Gunnison before making Colorado her home in 1999, settling in Crested Butte before her time in Telluride. When she's not at the office, Sarah feels most at home in the mountains. She loves skiing, paddle boarding, mountain biking, hiking, and discovering new music. She also enjoys spending quality time with her husband, family, and friends. We were excited to welcome Sarah to the Telluride Center for Dentistry team in June 2026!

Kathryn Sparacino

Patient Treatment Coordinator 

Kathryn joined us in 2020 after 27 years in hospitality, both in Telluride and Hawaii. She graduated college 1993 with a double major in Biology and Sociology before moving to Telluride from North Carolina. She's a hiker, skier, reader, puzzler, gardener, wife, stepmother, and cat lover, in no particular order.

Mel Sloan, RDH

Hygienist

Mel grew up in St. Louis, MO and studied Environmental Science/Geography at Oregon State. She moved to Telluride in October 2013 and had an amazing hygienist in Norwood who inspired her to enter the field. Since June 2021 we have had the pleasure of having her on our hygiene team! 

Heidi Weaver, RDH

Hygienist

Heidi grew up in Tacoma, WA and was a cosmetologist / esthetician before going to hygiene school in 2001. She first moved to Telluride in 2005 and started in this very practice after covering for another hygienist on maternity leave. Heidi has been with Dr. Grady since he took over the practice in 2009.

Michelle Smail, RDH

Hygienist

Michelle is from the Northeast Kingdom in Vermont. She received her Bachelors degree in Healthcare Management and her minor in Communications at the University of Southern New Hampshire. She also earned her Associates in Science and her degree in Dental Hygiene at the University of  Vermont. She joined our practice, April 2025 and has been a Dental Hygienist for the past 25 years!

Kaylee Shanelle Gallegos

Lead Dental Assistant

Kaylee moved to Telluride at 9 years old with her father and sister growing up as a Telluride local and graduating from Telluride Highschool in 2022. She joined our practice, May 2025, with no prior dental experience and has exceeded all expectations, being an extraordinary addition to our team.

Ashley Steele

Dental Assistant

Ashley is a lifetime local of the area, having grown up in Nucla, Colorado. She graduated from Nucla Highschool in 2021 and joined our team July 2025. This marks her first position in the dental field and we are thrilled to have her ambition and positive energy in the office.
