Dr. Grady established his practice in Telluride in 2009. Dr. Grady realized he wanted to pursue a career path that allowed him opportunities to serve people on a daily basis while utilizing his artistic skills. He strives to maintain a relaxed environment offering a wide variety of dental services from dental implant to full mouth cosmetic restorations.


Dr. Grady is not new to the field of cosmetic dentistry. He has taken numerous post-graduate courses from the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and other seminars. He has also completed courses in implant placement, endodontics, prosthodontics, periodontics, and operative dentistry. Dr. Grady is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the Colorado Dental Association, and the Western Colorado Dental Society. He is also on the board of directors for the Telluride AIDS Benefit (TAB).   


At the Telluride Center for Dentistry it our goal to connect with every patient on a personal level, listen to their needs, and provide the best dental care possible in a relaxed and family like environment. 


In addition to his education and professional pursuits, Dr. Grady is affiliated with the San Miguel Search and Rescue Team and the Telluride Elks Lodge. Dr. Grady enjoys his time with his two boys Declan and Caven. He also continues his love for fitness, the outdoors, camping, fishing, mountain biking, rafting, and traveling.




Dr. Christy L. Kopasz moved to Telluride in 1995 for the love of the outdoors and mountain community. For 18 years, she practiced in Telluride as a dental hygienist, until pursuing a career as a dentist. Christy loves building relationships with her patients, and is very caring and thoughtful. She is very passionate about dentistry and focuses on providing gentle and relaxed patient care.

When Dr. Kopasz isn’t doing her dentistry, she loves spending her time with her son, Harris. She also enjoys gardening, camping, cross-country skiing and cycling.

Dr. Kopasz attended the University of Colorado, School of Dentistry for her undergraduate degree in Dental Hygiene, and the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine, receiving a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Upon graduation of dental school, she was the honorary recipient of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry Award, Colorado Prosthodontics Award, Dr. Barry Beauvais/Special Care Dentistry Association Award, and the Quintessence Award for Clinical Achievement in Periodontics.

Dr. Kopasz is now with Telluride Center for Dentistry practice. She recently completed a one-year; hospital-based General Dentistry Residency at Denver Health Hospital in Denver, Colorado. Dr. Kopasz is gaining experience in general dentistry as well as oral surgery, pediatrics, operating room dentistry and dental trauma.

Dr. Alexander earned his bachelor’s degree from Texas Tech University, where he loosened a few teeth as an Academic All-American defensive back on the Red Raider football team.

After obtaining his D.D.S. from Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, he earned his M.S.D. in 1990 from the University of Washington, Seattle, one of the top orthodontic residency programs in the nation.

Dr. Alexander has lectured in several states, as well as in Germany, Turkey, Mexico, Canada and Russia. He is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists, a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, and has published many articles in orthodontic journals. The Alexander Discipline is an organization that is founded on the principles which Dr. Chuck’s father has developed over the 50 years of his orthodontic practice. Orthodontists all over the world follow these principles and the teachings of the Alexander Discipline. Dr. Chuck, with his orthodontic brother and cousin, continue to refine and improve the Alexander Discipline.



Jesse Gesten, CRNA, DNAP, is from Flagstaff Arizona. Jesse’s appreciation of Telluride started in 1977 when he first learned to ski. Jesse and his family have continued to frequent Telluride over the years and enjoy biking, hiking, and many local events. Jesse received his undergraduate degree from Northern Arizona University and his doctoral degree in nurse anesthesia from Missouri State University.


His background includes extensive experience in cardiovascular, neurosurgical, major vascular, orthopedics, ENT, plastic surgery, oncology, dental, urology, obstetrics, pediatrics and regional anesthesia. He currently lives in Flagstaff with his wife, three children and two Labrador retrievers.
